If you're done with ROOTING and flashing your CUSTOM RECOVERY ( Clockworkmod , TWRP , Etc. ) then you can install your CUSTOM ROM. if not CHECK THIS LINK . Things you need to do.
- Back up your EFS this is very important. ( incase of losing IMEI before flashing ). - Make sure to check that the ROM you have downloaded is compatible with your device. check the ff: 1. Brand of your Phone 2. Model, ex. Samsung, Sony, LG, etc. 3. Model Number or Model Code. ex. Samsung S4 i9505 , LG G2 D802. 4. Capacity of your device. ex. LG G2 16gb. because some custom ROM require this. - Download the STOCK ROM for your device ( incase of bootloop and other issues ). - Back up your Current ROM. - Back up imporant files. you can use "titanum back up" application which you can find in Google Play. - Save it to your PC or USB etc. - Done .
How to update your samsung devices to latest firmware available!
- Check and Download it here! - It includs bug fixes and more. - To install Download Samsung Usb drivers DOWNLOAD HERE - Download Odin. you can find it in Samsung firmware download page or DOWNLOAD HERE - Extract Odin ZIP file - Right click Open Odin v.3.10.6 and Run as administrator - Reboot Phone in Download Mode (press and hold Home + Power + Volume Down buttons) - Connect your phone to PC and wait until you get a blue sign in Odin. - Add the firmware file to AP / PDA. - Make sure re-partition is NOT ticked. - Click the start button, sit back and wait few minutes. - Wait until it finish booting. ( 30Mins Max )
1.Greenify App. DOWNLOAD HERE ( works better if you have root ) -Greenify help you identify and put the misbehaving apps into hibernation when you are not using them. 2. Disable Stock Applications. -The application that you rarely use and already installed on your phone. You can go to Settings - Application - Disable. If you want to use the app again you can enable it & disable when not in use. 3. Disable this on settings. - Auto Sync - GPS or Location - Haptic Feedback - Vibration - Set the brightness to lowest. 4. Developer Options. - Window animation scale = Animation off - Transition animation scale = Animation off - Animator animation scale = Animation off - App Background process = 3 limit. 5.
